Big Suprise

This morning I woke up to a big surprise. I went into the kid’s bathroom to do Gavin's hair, to find hair all over the floor. On close inspections I realized it was Lindsey's. When she woke up I asked her if she cut her hair, but she only hid her face and wouldn't get out of bed. There didn't seem to be too much hair on the floor, so I was pretty sure that we could salvage her hair cut. She finally got out of bed and I was shocked to see that she had completely cut off one side of her hair, along with chunks everywhere. Wow so little hair on the floor sure looked like a lot. I went to clean all the hair off the floor, but upon going to place it in the trashcan I discovered the bottom covered in hair. She had cut off A LOT! Needless to say my hairdresser got an emergency phone call at 9am this morning, and was so wonderful to fit Lindsey in. So not Lindsey has short hair. I think it was harder on me to see her long locks cut off then it was for her.

Dinner with Dad

Marissa is very inquisitive. She is always asking questions that are some times hard to answer. This morning she came and asked me if she had dance or gymnastics. I told her no, and she asked if any one else did. I said no, and then she asked if we had anything going on tonight. Again I said no, wondering what she was interested in. And then she asked if we could go to daddy's work and have dinner. She had me cornered there! How was I supposed to say no? She called daddy and sure enough we are heading to Salt Lake for dinner.

I completed these invites for Gavin’s Birthday party. He wanted to go to the planetarium, which severally limited how many people we were able to invite. But he loves, loves, LOVES space, and so this is perfect for him. I thought it was pretty cute.

Gavins Baptism Invites

I finally finished Gavin's Baptism invitations. It took me a while to find a printer, and I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to do it, but I really wanted to do a 5x5 initiation. So here it is. I am so happy with the way it turned out. Is he not sooooo handsome? He is so excited!

Jeff's Bday

This weekend we celebrated Jeff's Birthday, 39... can you believe. He has such a baby face. We ate at the chips and salsa place- aka Chaparrios in Ogden. We don't get to eat there often so it was a nice treat! Jeff then got to go play Hockey, what better way to celebrate.

I know my blog is pretty bad, but I'm going to make a goal to blog more. I saw this cute site where you can actually print your blog out into a book. It's like having your own journal. So I’m going to try it. Now I just have to find that site again.

I’ve also been working hard on Gavin’s birthday and baptism invites. I’ll post pics soon.

Winter Blues

It's the middle of winter and always I'm shoveling snow and taking care of sick kids. Gavin is finally better after fighting that terrible pneumonia, and then Lindsey got sick and came down with an ear infection. Still trying to hold off on doing another set of tubes. And now poor Jeff is sick with the flu. He's on four days of working from home because he's not feeling well. Do you think I'll get away with out getting anything? Hope so!

OK so I know it's been awhile.... again! But I really did try to post twice, and the site went down and didn't publish them. We have also had problems with our computer, so it's been a lot of fun. A quick update. Took Lindsey into the heart doctor, she is healthy and don't well. I hosted Bunco this month and it went great. I ended up hosting it as Mindy's house, and that was nice. Christmas was great! Kids where a hoot! Gavin would throw his arms in the air and jump up and down with each present. Marissa would pretend faint, and Lindsey would get ready for her the camera before opening each present. We took Marissa in for her eye appointment and her eye has gotten a lot worse, so she is now wearing a patch. She is doing well with it. Gavin has been sick the last week. Ends up he has a phenomena, and has missed over a week of school now.
Oh yeah! I got called to the Primary Presidency and Jeff got called to Young Men's, so we have been really busy!

Happy Thanksgiving

So I got a virus on my computer the day after Thanksgiving, and it went bye, bye! We had Josh stop by and he said to rebuild it, so I'm finally back up and running. So Happy Thanksgiving, a little late. I just took some really cute pics of the kids I'll have to share soon.
